Description
CrankyApe.com is seeking Casual Drivers to assist in recoveries motorhomes and other units. This is a very unique position that requires a special type of person:
- You must hold a Class A commercial driver’s license, air brake endorsement preferred. Knowledge of DOT regulations alos preferred.
- You must be available to travel for several days with little or no notice. You will also need to able to come to one of our warehouse locations to pick up your itinerary and other tools needed for the recovery.
- You will not be guaranteed any income or a steady paycheck. Casual drivers are paid on a per-run basis no matter how long it takes--$450 for the first unit and $175 for each additional unit plus lodging and meal expenses per internal policies.
- You must be trustworthy and possess good judgment—the ability to think on your feet, improvise when needed, and know when to call for guidance are crucial. You will provided a cell phone to use while on runs, and will be directly supervised by a Warehouse Manager and our Recovery Coordinator.
